Masala Tea ☕

Aromatic very rich flavor Masala Tea what you need for this winter to keep you warm. In Nepal everyone wakes up every morning craving for this Tea. It is very easy to make with lovely and healthy spices. I use simply milk, water, brown sugar and the king of the spices Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom and ginger as well as Black tea. Put all together, boil for a few minutes and then you will have a delicious and aromatic Tea which really satisfies you. I hope you give it a try. Cooking time 5 minutes

 

Serves 1

 

Ingredients

1 cup of Milk (use the cup that you serve)

½ cup of Water ( use the cup that you serve)

3 Crushed Cardamom Pods

2 Cloves

1 small size of Cinnamon Stick

1 little piece of Ginger

1 Black Tea Bag

1 tbsp of Brown Sugar (you can use White Sugar if you want)

 

How to make

  1. Prepare all ingredients above and put it all in to a pan or pot and bring it to the boil in medium high heat.

  2. After boils turn heat to medium low heat then let it boil around 3 to 4 minutes which helps to infuse all flavor and combines with the milk to make it richer and also to reduce and stop liquid spill out from the pot. After 4 minutes boiling your perfect Masala Tea is ready.

Transfer to a serving glass or cup then you can enjoy with your preferable pastries. We love to eat with cookies!

Note: while you are transferring the Tea in to a glass or cup use the little strainer to separate the liquid which is our Tea and throw the hard parts out.
