Simple yet delicious winter recipe, mixed Bean and Potato cooked in pressure Cooker with Onion, tomato, Ginger, Garlic, Cumin, Garam Masala etc, It is a very hearty and warm dish that you can enjoy with warm rice, Roti etc. Please check the full video to find out how to make it.

Ingredients
2 cups or 400g mixed beans
400g Potato Chunks
1 big onion, blended paste
2 medium Tomatoes, blended paste
6 cloves Garlic, blended paste
1.5 inch Ginger, blended paste
7 Piri Piri, opened in Middle (any chilies you prefer)
3 tbsp spring Coriander chopped
1 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/2 Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tsp Salt or to your taste
3 tbsp Mustard Oil
How to make:
To soak Beans, remove any excess dirt, put it in a large bowl, cover with water around 5 cups, allow to soak overnight or at least 5 hours.
After the Beans has soaked, drain the water from it and wash it once with clean water and set aside
Heat a Pressure cooker on medium heat, add in 3 tbsp mustard oil, heat it up, add in Cumin seeds, fry it until brown.
Add in Onion, Garlic and Ginger paste, on medium low heat, cook it until it separates the oil.
Add in Cumin, Chili, Turmeric and Paprika powder and fresh chilies, allow to cook 30 seconds while mixing.
Add in Tomato sauce, allow to cook until it becomes a dry paste.
Add in mixed soaked Beans, combine well, cook it for 5 minutes.
Add in Potato chunks, combine it well with the Beans, add in salt, mix it well.
Add in 1 litre hot water, give a light mix.
Put the lid on very well. Allow to cook first 10 minutes on medium heat then another 15 minutes on low heat, total 25 minutes.
Turn heat off, wait and make sure all pressure and heat went out from the pressure Cooker before opening it.
Open the lid and turn heat again on medium, bring it up to boil. Combine it well and add in Garam Masala and spring Coriander, give a good mix and done. Serve hot with warm Rice or Roti.
