Garlic and Pepper Pan Fried Ribs

Pan Fried Ribs cooked with Garlic, Pepper, Lemon juice, it’s a very easy and simple recipe even though I use very little spices it turns out to be such a delicious and comforting dish to share with family and friends.

If you want to eat something delicious in a minimum time then this is a dish for you! This is actually more of a summer dish to share but at home you can make it at any time and enjoy with some vegetable finger salad and some spicy sauce. It's delicious!

Cooking time 30 minutes

Serves 2 to 3

Ingredients

800 grams Pork Ribs

3 tbsps Lemon juice

4 tbsps Sunflower oil

0.5 Salt or per your taste

8 crushed cloves of Garlic

1 tbsp crushed black Pepper or per your taste

How to make:

Prepare all the ingredients above.

  1. Pork Ribs cut into 1.5 inch pieces and marinate with 3 tbsps Lemon Juice, 2 tbsps Sunflower Oil and half tsp of Salt, or per your taste then give a very good mix. Cover with the lid. Let it marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes, or overnight marination which makes it more flavorful, if so keep in the fridge.

  1. To fry it, heat 2 tbsps Oil in a large pan over a medium flame. As soon as the oil is hot, place it in all the marinated ribs one at a time and let it fry for 5 minutes without touching it.

  1. After 5 minutes flip it over and fry it for 4 minutes on the other side. At the end of 4 minutes sprinkle in half of the crushed black Pepper. Flip it over again then add in the rest of the black Peppers and the crushed Garlic. Cover with the lid and let it cook for 15 minutes on medium low flame until the meat cooks and the Garlic dissolves. Meanwhile you can flip it a few times to caramelise the Ribs evenly.

  1. After 15 minutes, take the lid off and flip it over and done. It will look delicious, the Ribs have cooked well and we can see a lovely caramelized color and the Garlic has dissolved.

You can serve it with some salad and spicy dipping Sauce. Enjoy!
