This simple and tasty stir fry sweet cauliflower recipe overwhelms your appetite to another level which is you won’t like to stop eating it. It's a very quick recipe yet so delicious. It's gonna be very fragrant and satisfying because of the spices I use. I really hope that you try it out.
Cooking time 10 minutes
800 grams sweet asian Cauliflower
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1.5 tbsps Olive Oil
1 tsp grated Ginger
1 tsp grated Garlic
3 red Chilies
1 big tomato
0.5 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
0.5 tsp Salt
A handful of chopped green Onion
How to make:
Prepared the Cauliflower by washing and chopping, and other ingredients above..
Heat a pan over a medium flame. Add in 1.5 tbsps of Olive oil and a tsp of Cumin seeds. Fry it, stirring until it releases the cumin seeds fragrance for about 20 seconds.
Add in Ginger, Garlic and 3 slit cut red chilies. Cook it stirring for 30 seconds. Next add in 0.5 tsp of Turmeric powder and a tsp of Coriander powder. Stir it for 10 seconds.
Now add in chopped tomato, about 0.5 cup, stir well to combine with the masala and cover it with the lid and cook it for 3 minutes for the tomato to get soft.
After the tomato became soft add in the chopped Cauliflower. Stir it very well to combine with the spices. Now add in 0.5 tsp of Salt and ¼ cup of water to sweat the Cauliflower. Again give a little stir. Cover it with the lid and cook it for about 3 to 4 minutes still over medium flame.
After 4 minutes, take the lid off and stir lightly. Add in a handful of chopped green Onion. Give a good mix. Now our tasty stir fried sweet Cauliflower is ready.
Serve with hot plain basmati rice and dal for vegetarian meals. Enjoy!
