Cooking up something simple yet irresistible—Stir-Fried Cauliflower! This dish is packed with bold flavors, a hint of spice, and the perfect crunch. It’s healthy, quick, and sure to become a family favorite. Enjoy!


Prep & Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Serving: Serves 4 as a side dish or 2 as a light main

Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower: 1 kg, cut into bite-sized florets

  • Olive Oil: 2 tbsp

  • Cumin Seeds: 1 tsp

  • Garlic: 6 cloves, roughly chopped

  • Paprika: 1 tsp (or mild chili powder, to taste)

  • Salt: To taste

  • Coriander (Cilantro): A handful, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Cauliflower:

    • Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Rinse well and steam for 6-8 minutes until tender but firm.

  2. Prep the Aromatics:

    • Roughly chop the garlic and coriander while the cauliflower is  steaming.

  3. Stir Fry the Cauliflower:

    • Heat olive oil in a pan or karai on medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

    • Stir in the garlic and sauté until golden.

    • Add paprika (or chili powder) and mix briefly.

    • Add the steamed cauliflower and salt. Toss gently to coat with the spices and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Finish with Coriander:

    • Sprinkle chopped coriander, toss to combine, and serve warm.
