Spicy Garlic Broccolini

Today I’m going to show you how to make perfect Spicy Garlic Broccolini. This is a very quick to make and takes just about 5 minutes to cook. This is delicious to eat as a side dish for a roast, fried meat, rice, dhal and much more dishes. Enjoy!

Serve 4

Cooking time 5 minutes


400g Broccolini

4 cloves sliced Garlic

2 tbsps Olive Oil

0.5 tsp Chili flakes

1.5 tsp salt to boil + stir fry the Broccolini

1.5 liters water to boil the Broccolini

How to make:

Prepare all the ingredients above:

  1. First prepare the Broccolini, take a broccolini, find the soft part moving the stalk holding with both hands and give a little press, in this way it will break itself. After it breaks use a soft side and throw the hard part. From the soft side peel and remove the hard skin of the broccolini.

  2. To blanch into the boiling water, add in 1 tsp salt, giving a little mix to salt the water evenly then add in broccolini and boil a maximum of 3 minutes. Move them to cold ice water to stop the cooking process. After the broccolini becomes cold, drain the water and set aside for stir-fry.

  3. Heat a pan over a medium flame, add in 2 tbsps of cooking Olive Oil. After the Olive Oil got hot, add in sliced Garlic, stir it lightly until we see a beautiful color appearing then add in chili Flakes, stir quickly and add in the blanched broccolinis. Stir it, add in salt, a few pinches or as per your taste and give a quick stir and our quick and delicious side dish is ready in about 2 minutes.

It's a great side dish for roast or fried meat, rice, dhal and many more dishes. Enjoy!
