Serve 3

Cooking time 10 minutes

Ingredients

500 grams Prawns

3 tbsps Butter cut into 6 pieces

8 cloves of Garlic Sliced

2 Shallots sliced

0.5 tsp Paprika

0.5 Salt or to your taste

2 bay leaves

3 tbsps Olive oil

3 slit cut green Chilies

0.5 tsp white Pepper

3 to 4 tbsps Lemon juice

Hand full of green Coriander / Cilantro

How to make:

  1. First I’m preparing the prawns, wash and remove the intestinal vein using a toothpick or a knife then cut off the tail, legs and the hard part of the head.

  2. Next into a flat surface pan, add in the Olive oil, make sure the oil covers the bottom of the pan then prawns, place them one by one. sprinkle in paprika, sliced garlic drop in spreading, sliced Shallot, green chilies, Bay leaves break in the middle and add in, sprinkle salt as per your taste, Butter and white pepper. The lemon juice and the chopped coriander, put at the end as a final seasoning.

  3. Now bring it to the heat, cover with a lid, cook it for about 5 minutes on medium flame. At this time the butter is melting down and sizzling very well. After 5 minutes, let's take the lid off and flip up the prawns. Cover with the lid again and cook it for 4 minutes. After 4 minutes, take the lid off.

  4. Now, sprinkle a generous amount of Lemon juice, which cuts the greasiness of the Butter and balances the taste. And a handful of chopped green coriander. Give a light mix and cook it for 30 seconds.

  5. After 30 seconds the prawns are ready, turn off the heat. The Prawn with skin cooks for about 10 minutes, if you are cooking skinless prawns then 6 to 7 minutes is enough.

  6. Enjoy!
